In June of 2015 our team, led by our long-time customer JMS Electric, was awarded the scope of work for the Chicago Blackhawks new training and community ice arena. The building was to be built across from the new Malcolm X campus. This brand-new state-of-the-art facility, designed by 360 Architecture, will be the new home of the Chicago Blackhawks team operations and more importantly, be open to the community to facilitate a new skating facility in the heart of Chicago.
M&R’s scope of work involved all the structured cabling, security, fire alarm, and AV systems.
We furnished and installed a complete end-to-end Commscope solution that included over 600 CAT6A data drops, 100+ strands of singlemode and multimode fiber optic cable, a state-of-the-art integrated video management and security management system. Additionally, with the support of long-time AV partner TVTI Inc., our team installed a first-rate AV system.
We were honored to be a part of this project and appreciate the business that we have conducted with the Blackhawks and United Center beyond this project.
